How to Adjust Your Glasses

You have chosen the best frame with right size and according to your face and then finally ordered from Eye Winsome. Now your glasses have arrived by the courier service. you tried that pair of glasses or sunglasses and look in the mirror but your don’t find it as you are used to with your old pair.

PROBLEM No. 1

My Frame is Slipping Down on my Nose.

(a) FOR METAL FRAME GLASSES:

Use your thumbs to push the nose pads closer together until they fit snugly against either side of your nose.

(b) FOR PLASTIC FRAME GLASSES:

Place your glasses in a bowl of warm water for 30-60 seconds. Carefully apply an inward and downward pressure to the end of the temples to achieve a tighter fit behind the ears.

PROBLEM No.2

My Frame is Pinching my Nose

 

(a) FOR METAL FRAME GLASSES:

Use your thumbs to spread the nose pads out until they fit comfortably.

(b) FOR PLASTIC FRAME GLASSES:

Place your glasses in a bowl of warm water for 30-60 seconds. Carefully apply an outward and upward pressure to the end of the temples to achieve a relaxed fit behind the ears.

PROBLEM No. 3

One Lens of my Frame is Higher than Other

(a) THE LEFT LENS IS HIGHER THAN THE RIGHT LENS:

If the left lens is higher than the right lens, bend the right temple arm down where it’s most adjustable: at the hinge or the bend at your ear.

(b) THE RIGHT LENS IS HIGHER THAN THE LEFT LENS:

If the right lens is higher than the left lens, bend the left temple arm down where it’s most adjustable: at the hinge or the bend at your ear.

 

PROBLEM No. 4

One lens of my Frame is Closer to my eye than Other.

 

(a) IF YOUR LEFT LENS IS CLOSER IN:

Bend the left temple arm in and/or the right temple arm out at the hinge.

(b) IF YOUR RIGHT LENS IS CLOSER IN:

Bend the right temple arm in and/or the left temple arm out at the hinge. While your glasses are strong, be careful not to apply excessive force.
